Carrot Burgers (Serve with ketchup, recipe is listed below)
15 Medium Large carrots peeled and shredded (I use a food processor)
3 Large Onions chopped fine
Cook carrots and onions until soft
Add these to the following ingredients in a large bowl
3 Quarts of cooked with salt Millet or Quinoa or some of both
To cook the millet boil 2 1/2 Quarts of water and add 2 1/2 cups of millet with 1 1/2 t. salt and lightly simmer until all of the millet is absorbed. About 1 hour.
For Cooking Quinoa boil 2 Quarts of water and add 4 cups of Quinoa with 1 1/2 t. salt and lightly simmer until all of the quinoa is absorbed. About 1/2 hour.
2 Packs of Tofu
2 T salt
2 T. Onion Powder
2 Cups of chopped walnuts
3 1/2 Cups of minute oats.
1 cup of ground Chia and flax mixed
Make into patties and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 15 minutes or until both sides are slightly browned.
Makes about 75 patties
Ketchup (no vinegar)
6 oz. Can of tomato paste (preferably organic)
1 Jar of any oil free sugar free Organic Marinara Pasta Sauce 25 oz. (I get this from Aldies) Classico also has an oil free and sugar free one.
Add water if a thinner consistency is desired
2 t. salt
1 T. Onion Powder
3/4 cup of Honey
1/3 cup of Lemon Juice
Mix all of this and place it in 1 cup size glass canning jars and freeze for future use.
